The Kingston Institute for Multi-Racial Inclusion (KIMRI) is seeking someone to assume its presidency role. KIMRI • Substantive progress since being incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2021 • Relevantly qualified, passionate and inclusive board of directors • Its ‘holistic’ and community-wide participative mission which transcends silos and politics has attracted the support of most Kingston organizations involved with EDII work + an eagerness to collaborate with it. Who this role would be ideal for • Someone who wants to make a difference in the advancement of EDII (equity, diversity, Indigenization and inclusion) in Kingston. • Someone who cares about the challenges New Canadians face and making Kingston a welcoming place for them. • Someone who wants to invite participation of, and provide support to, the whole community in advancing EDII • Someone who wants to work with an inclusive and passionate board of directors in developing a recently incorporated and needed non-profit organization.
