We offer an assistive devices "Community Lending Library", and we need help with minor repairs. We have had people help us in the past, but no one has the availability currently. There are multiple walkers that need brakes fixed, foam handles replaced, some tightening etc. We have the supplies, we just need the assistance from anyone with that kind of knowledge.

Whatever works for them, works for us. There is usually only a few devices to fix at a time. It shouldn't take more than 1-3 hrs each time.

Position Responsibilities

Fix brakes, replace foam handles, tightening of equipment and other minor repairs in order to assist more individuals in need of an assistive device. We have many items come in that we are unable to loan out because they need repairs, usually these repairs are very minor. All of our loans are free.

Volunteer Benefits
