A Professional Women’s Group Mentor is a supportive guide, role model, and encourager for participants throughout the 13-week program. Mentors help create a welcoming, empowering environment where women feel seen, heard, and supported as they pursue personal and professional goals.

Mentor PWG Program

Dates and Times

Mentors are expected to attend weekly PWG sessions, each lasting approximately 2 hours. In addition, mentors should set aside time for one-on-one check-ins with their mentee outside of group sessions to offer personalized support and encouragement.

Required Qualifications

Requirements: - Commitment to attend weekly PWG sessions for the duration of the 13-week program (approx. 2 hours per session) - Willingness to engage in one-on-one check-ins with an assigned mentee between sessions - Ability to maintain confidentiality and create a safe, respectful space for open dialogue - Interest in supporting women’s personal and professional development Preferred Qualifications: - Strong listening and interpersonal communication skills - Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude - Experience in the workforce, education, or entrepreneurship (formal mentoring experience not required) - Passion for empowering women and building community - Reliable, consistent, and able to commit for the full program term

Position Responsibilities

As a mentor, you will guide and support program participants through weekly group workshops, one-to-one connections, and encourage group discussions. - Share your knowledge and experiences - Be matched one-to-one with a participant - Attend weekly workshops to support your participant - Provide guidance, motivation and role modelling - Assist participants in setting goals, developing contacts and identifying/accessing resources to grow professionally. - Encourage active participation within the group
