Food Access

Our emergency pantry provides 2 days worth of groceries to anyone in need. Anyone who is looking to access our pantry must show ID (mail, or Id of some kind) but does not need to show proof of need. Our pantry is unique as it was created to help fill the gap, if your paycheck did not reach the end of the month or you have run out of food from the food bank or salvation army.

Dates and Times

This position will run from 9am-1pm Looking to fill all days but Tuesday.

Required Qualifications

At least double vaccinated against covid-19 You need to acquire a CPIC (I can provide a letter to have the cost covered)

Position Responsibilities

There are going to be two people in pantry to help as some days can be very busy with growing numbers. One person could be at the computer checking people in, or taking information from new clients. The second person can help get the pantry order ready for a client. There are a few options for the clients to pick from.

Volunteer Benefits

This position is really important, and has the most contact with our clients. They come to the desk to ask questions or to ask for staff. Knowing you are able to support our clients feed their families or themselves can leave you feeling very rewarded.
