Virtual Career Coach Volunteer

Organization Ontario Career Lab- Powered by HIEC (Halton Industry Education Council)
Category Education & Literacy
Location Virtual (This position allows for remote working)

Whether you work in public service, the trades, healthcare, technology, administration, or any other field—your career journey matters. As a Virtual Career Coach with Ontario Career Lab, you'll make a meaningful difference by sharing your real-world experiences with Grade 9 and 10 students who are just beginning to imagine their futures. Your personal journey, the steps you took, challenges you faced, and pivotal moments that shaped your career, shows students how diverse industries operate and how careers actually develop. Through a Career Conversation Panel, you'll inspire young people to think about their future with confidence and help them understand that career paths aren't always linear, but they are full of opportunities. “I learned about careers I didn’t know existed, and I feel like I have more options.” Student Participant
