The Clothing Helper will assist the OSGK Clothing Depot manager in sorting and distributing donated clothing to Lunch by George's clients. This is a position with direct client interaction.

Dates and Times

For this position we are asking one day a week, from 9:30-12:30 but a prospective volunteer could come in as many days as they prefer.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to use stairs, lift up to 30 lbs., and stand for periods of time Confidentiality is necessary Written and spoken English communication required

Position Responsibilities

-Sort incoming donations into size, type (tops, bottoms, shoes, etc.), gender, season -Label clothing by gender and size -Move clothing up and down from storage -Distribute clothing to clients as requested

Volunteers in this position will help to clothe individuals who are street-involved or otherwise unable to afford clothing.
