We are currently seeking new members for the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is charged with looking to the future, while ensuring that risk is well managed within the organization.

Board Director

Dates and Times

· Board Member Commitment (clear expectations) • Attends 9 board meetings per year • Serve on either the finance or governance committees (meetings vary) • Three-year term, with a possibility of 2 renewals (maximum of 9 years total) • Attend board orientation. Time commitment can vary between 5-8 hours per month.

Required Qualifications

Experience in the following areas is considered an asset: • Legal • Labour Relations • Government Relations However, all qualified applicants with a commitment to strong governance and community impact are encouraged to apply. Position Responsibilities

Directors are expected to: • Attend and prepare for 9 meetings a year (read materials before meetings) • Contribute skills, perspective, and respectful dialogue • Serve as ambassadors for the organization • Act in the best interests of the organization • Maintain confidentiality • Declare and manage conflicts of interest
