We are looking for a friendly, reliable volunteer to help patients remember their upcoming medical appointments. The volunteer will make reminder calls to patients using a provided script and follow established privacy and confidentiality procedures.

Required Qualifications

Friendly, respectful, and compassionate communication style. Reliable and comfortable speaking with people by phone. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to follow scripts, procedures, and confidentiality requirements. Previous healthcare experience is not required; training will be provided.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities Make reminder calls to patients before their scheduled medical appointments. Confirm appointment date, time, and location. Provide basic information using an approved script. Record whether the patient was reached and/or whether a message was left. Notify staff of cancellations, rescheduling requests, or other concerns. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
