Well Suited is recruiting for a Board of Directors position as Vice Treasurer. As Vice Treasurer you will be responsible for handling all strategic and operational fiscal matters in close working relationship with both the treasurer and the Board of Directors. This senior level executive position will require attention to detail as well a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude to provide fiscal oversight and fiscal operationalisation of this growing not for profit organisation

Vice Treasurer

Dates and Times

Likely time commitment will be minimum of 2 hours a month in attendance at monthly board meetings However, there is lots of work to be done inbetween the meetings, with providing fiscal advice and documentation in support of the organisations Mission and Vision, the successful candidate should be prepared to come to this position with a forward leaning attitude, roll up their sleeves and do not only the job tasks provided, but be an active board member of the working board of the organisation

Required Qualifications

Preferable but not mandatory - CPA qualified Preferred but not mandatory - Previous experience of fiscal matters within a not for profit organisation

Position Responsibilities

Preparing financial statements for presentation at board meetings Providing financial information pertaining to the organisation to assist in the writing of Grants and Funding applications Ensuring 'day to day' financial tasks are taken care of Working with the Treasurer to provide future strategic and operational fiscal guidance
