Zoom - Hybrid Operator for 4 - 5 meetings per year.

ISO a Zoom operator for our Hybrid in-person and on-ZOOM meetings. An older volunteer has been doing it for about a year, and he can’t continue. We own all the gear. It includes a video camera, cables, screen, microphone etc. . The meetings are only 4 or 5 per year. They take place on the 4th Saturday of September, November, February and April. We generally set up sometime after 11:00 am; the meeting would start at 1:00 pm; and we finish about 3-4:00 pm. These take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Hall, near the corner of Montreal Street and Queen Street. The Google address is 137 Queen St Kingston, ON K7K 1A8, but the hall entrance is a bit along Montreal Street. The only reason this is not likely suitable for a Volunteer Placement is due to the limited number of hours. If you only need a few, then it may be fine.

Required Qualifications

Some experience with zoom would be a benefit. Also with using a video camera, and microphones.

Position Responsibilities

Arrive early to set up the technology systems, do a pre - check with the presenter who may be on zoom or in person, check the agenda for documents needed to share screen, Verify that the Anthems are ready to play, Manage the mic during the Q and A, Tidy up all once finished, locking away the gear. All under supervision.
