Become a part of an enthusiastic planning team responsible for multiple events on Epilepsy South Eastern Ontario's exciting social calendar. This includes a bowling tournament in March and a formal gala to be held later in the year! If party and event planning are something you love or want to do more of, this is for you.

Dates and Times

March Epilepsy Awareness Month may require more hours as well as the annual Fire Truck Pull in July.

Required Qualifications

Planning and events experience, creativity, project management, time management, communication skills, computer/social media skills, audio-visual skills, group work, positivity, and leadership.

Position Responsibilities

Roles include planning, communication, logistics, advertising and social media, community representation, even day representative, and more. 4 - 5 hours a month. March Epilepsy Awareness Month may require more hours. Meet with the planning committee regularly, create realistic goals and deadlines, advertise, solicit donations (monetary and in-kind), procure materials, handle logistics, and perform event day responsibilities. Work with a staff volunteer coordinator. Required Qualifications: Planning and events experience, creativity, project management, time management, communication skills, computer / social media skills, audio-visual skills, group work, positivity, and leadership.
