St. Vincent de Paul provides practical assistance to our community. We do this in a number of ways including getting individuals furniture that they need while housed. This can be anything from a new bed to a dresser. We need volunteers that are capable of lifting heavier furniture. This shift would be from 1130am-230pm. We can accept volunteers that are not able to drive to be assistance to drivers. In order to drive our vehicle you need to be a G level driver. To be a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Society of Kingston all volunteers need to acquire a criminal record check. Positions are available Tuesday and Thursday

Dates and Times

We are looking for volunteers to fill shifts on Tuesday and Thursday from 1130am - 230pm. Days will vary based on the number of pick ups set up. Days will not go longer then 230pm.

Required Qualifications

Tuesday and Thursday G Driver License (unless you would like to be an assistant to a driver then this is not required)

Position Responsibilities

Drivers will be given deliveries that will be time and date sensitive. They will be instructed, on what they are taking and what address they will be visiting. Drivers could be partnered with assistances for lifting heavy objects.
