Kingston Interval House

Kingston Interval House (KIH) provides 24-hour safe emergency shelter, community-based counselling services and Second Stage Housing to women, youth and children escaping violence. Since 1975, KIH has been responding to the needs of abused women and their children, and youth, in our community.

Kingston Interval House (KIH) provides essential, responsive, and empowering services to women, children and youth who have experienced the impact of violence against women. KIH seeks to interrupt the cycle of domestic abuse and gender-based violence through the delivery of its core services, which include: Emergency shelter services Transitional programs Community-based outreach and support services Second-stage housing Community engagement and capacity building

Volunteer on site (we require our volunteers to be 18 years of age, female, and have a recent (within 3 months) CPIC available), volunteer board member, donate personal items, become a monthly donor, share our information and posts on social media, host a fundraiser, make a financial donation, etc.
