Kingston WritersFest

Kingston WritersFest is a not-for-profit charitable organization that presents an annual five-day readers' and writers' festival featuring more than 60 top Canadian and international authors in 45+ events – readings, onstage conversations, performances, and Writers Retreat master classes for emerging and established writers. Our vision is to be a community that celebrates the power of the written word by connecting readers and writers in inclusive conversations that inspire, engage, and expand our worldviews.

To promote diverse literary expression, develop and grow an audience for the literary arts, and foster the artistic development of writers of all ages.

Kingston WritersFest is acitively recruiting new board members. In addition, Kingston WritersFest looks for dynamic, book-loving people to volunteer during our annual Festival, which would not be possible without the nearly one hundred amazing volunteers who support us each year. Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, we have volunteer roles that are suited to your skills and expertise.
